Stuffed Pocket and my Journal Cover.
I came across Joie de fi's You Tube channel today, and she had a video on how to make these stuffed pockets using your scraps. I used a magazine page for the base and then just covered it with scraps and fabric scraps. That was quite a fun project.
This little pocket holds quite a few items.
I choose to sew some scraps to the front of the little pocket, so I could attach a little charm.
On the bottom I sewed a little "stopper" so my tags won't fall out, but you can still stick other goodies on top of it.
Here is the pocket empty. It fit perfectly in my journal. I had painted the background of this page, and that is the perfect fit.
Here's the tags and goodies I stuffed it with.
That was such a fun project. Thank you for the inspiration and great tutorial.
This is the front cover of my altered book cover journal. I had painted the background but didn't like it, so I covered it with tissue paper. But I didn't like that either, so I just put another tissue paper over that. On top I made a little pocket that holds a folder. I used some fabric scraps for the cover.
I just embellished it a bit here and there.
For this charm I used about 3 coats of UTEE.
This is the street name where I used to live in Germany.
Here you can kind of see my back cover. I also have 3 elastics to hold my pages.
This is the folder that is on my cover.
Here is a page marker I made.

French Fry Boxes without Dies.
I never thought about making a clear French Fry box with a laminator, til I saw a tutorial from Veronica at BuzzinwithVee. I was hooked. I had the laminator and the sheets and gave it a try. I printed out a template and cut everything out with a craft knife. It worked out great..
For the top hole I added an eyelet on both sides and tied it up with some fabric. Then I just added a charm I made. On the bottom I just punched a hole and tied it up.
Here you can kind of see the glitter I added to mine.
Here a side view.
This is the ephemera I put in it.
This journal card I made out of scraps.
It was not hard to make and a lot of fun.
This one I made out of kraft cardstock.
For this one I just hand sewed some fabric together and added a button.
For the inside I choose to just let all the pieces be held by a clip.
These are the ephemera pieces for this one.
This is a little Polaroid piece I made with some leftover paper I painted for the frame.
Thank you for the inspiration.

Ticket Folders.
Eva at Bohamian Crafting has a tutorial on how to make these folders. She used envelopes, I made me a template since I didn't have those envelopes and used cardstock or book pages. I started with a piece of cardstock that is 9x81/4 in. Also, Vikki at Jounal & Crafts has a different version of it, which is pretty good too, but I have not tried that version yet.
These are the front covers of the 3 folders I made.
I decorated and stamped the inside and added journal cards.
When you open it up you have plenty of room to write.
More stamping on the outside.
For this one I added more journaling cards to the inside.
Plenty of room to write.
For this one I used book pages and stamping.
For this one I also used book pages and journaling cards.
Also plenty space to write.
Again stamping.
These are easy and fun to make. A nice addition to any journal.
