Book Page Insert.
Patricia Viramontes has a great tutorial for this insert. I added a bead I made, for the closure. I did not add a pocket to the front, instead I just glued an old stamp on an old negative.
I didn't have the glaze she put on both sides, so I just used some glue, mixed with a bit of water, and about 3 or 4 drops of alcohol ink. It worked pretty good.
I used the Tim Holtz die I had, and embossed it. I did cut off about 2 panels to make it shorter. Then I colored it with copper acrylic paint. After that I added one layer of UTEE, to give it the "wet" look.
These are the ephemera pieces I used for this pocket.
Inserts for the above pocket.
I made little panels to go across the spine, to strengthen it.
For the back I made a book page pocket.
Thank you for the great idea and tutorial.
