Pages from my new Journal.

Here are a few pages from my Journal I'm working on.
On the left is a pocket tag with an envelope. The tutorial can be found at shabbydabbydoodah.

I also added a pocket made with some tracing paper.

This bookmark tutorial can be found at Luise Heinzl. On the back is a paperclip. On the bottom you have a side pocket. I also added a pocket on top.

This is part of an envelope you alter to fit over your pages. I don't remember where I found this project. You flip this part up.

Here you can see the envelope that i covered in music paper. On the right is another insert.

This is the insert. Also a tutorial from shabbydabbydoodah. I added one more pocket on the bottom.

Here without the journal cards.

Journal cards.

This insert fits perfectly in that envelope.

For this page I just used some acrylic paint that I blew with a straw.

For the pocket I used a folded over piece of tracing paper and added some goodies on the inside.

This project can be found at robindudleyhowes. I love the way this page turned out.

Thank you to all the Ladies for the great inspirations.

Loaded Pocket Belly Band.

Over at Junk Journal Ideas you can find a tutorial for these pockets.
For this one I used a junk envelope as the pocket/belly band part. I also folded part of the envelope up, to give me another pocket. I decorated with book pages and stamped over it. For the background, I just used a stencil and sprayed some paint on it.

Here I took everything out.

These are my inserts.

For this one I choose to sew the left side of the pocket and on the right side I added 3 eyelets.

Here is a close up of my puzzle charm. I added just one layer of UTEE. For the other 2 eyelets I just tied some fabric thru them.

Here it is empty.

These are the inserts for this pocket.

I made 3 different sizes.

This was my first pocket I made. The ticket fit perfectly over this pocket.

These are the inserts for this pocket.

Here is the empty pocket.

These are fun to make. Thank you Donna for the inspiration for this project.

Rustic Christmas Cards.

Here are 2 Christmas cards I made.

This one is more like an envelope card with a pocket on the outside and on the inside. It also has a "spool" that I made with the EPB.

I also made a little shaker pocket to go with it.

Here You can see the pocket and the little journal insert.

I like to include "scraps" in my shaker pockets.

I think this is my first project where I added a button.

For this tree I used corrugated cardboard. I added some colors for the background and added one layer of UTEE. Then I just wrapped some strings around it and topped it with a bow.

I also added some twisted wire to both corners.

The blue background, behind the tree, is something I painted. To finish it off I just backed it with some old music paper.

Faux Tea Bags made with Coffee Filters.

Here is just a collection of my "tea bags" I made.

Here I covered the coffee filter with fabric and added a small pocket in the front. I liked the frayed edges on the top, so I didn't add any string.

This one I just stamped and folded differently.

I love thinking up different ways to add charms to the strings.

This one has a little pocket in the front where the faux metal piece is. For this one I used some fabric to cover the top edge.

Rachel Tomlinson has a tutorial on how to make this project. You just sew it on top of some tracing paper.

This one I attached to the front of a small booklet.

Faux Specimen Slide and Window Faux Tea Bag Tag.

Tracy Fox Love Junk Journal has a tutorial for both projects. Mine is a faux tea bag because I used a coffee filter.

This specimen slide was easy to make.

I added a little pocket to my front. I used some tracing paper and folded it over, so I could add some things to the inside. Then I sewed all around it.

For the backing I used some old music paper.

Here you can see the 3 things I put inside the pocket. Including a tiny playing card.

It's hard to see, but I used a 3 colored stamp pad to stamp the swirl with. These 2 projects are fun to make. Thank you Tracy for the inspiration.
