Luise Heinzl has a tag challenge I'm trying to enter. I used the butterfly for the window and sewed around it.
The beads I made from some of her printables.
It was fun to put this tag together. Renate

I always try and find different kind of fabric purses with unique handles. And when I do, I try and make them out of cardstock. This is the case with these 2 giftbags.
This one measures about 4 1/2 wide x 4 inches tall. As I said, I got the Idea for the handle from a fabric purse. You just slip the cardboard handle base thru some fabric. I did like that effect. I just added some ripped fabric strips for the handles.
I chose to add a little key charm.
It's hard to see but the sides have pleats.
I stamped all over my cardstock.
I like adding pockets to the front of my purses.
I got the tutorial for this purse from Teri Pocock. I just changed the handle part, but the purse base is per her tutorial.
Again, the handle idea is from a fabric purse.
I chose to add a pocket to the front of this purse with a button I made.
I added an eyelet to the side to add some charms. I cut out a heart from some old negatives and added also a negative strip to the charm. You can't see it, but it has a "hello" tag.
It's hard to see but this bag also has side pleats.
A back view. The paper for this purse I designed myself.
Just to give you an idea what to put inside, I made a mini clipboard, a coffee dyed paper pad...
... a hidden paperclip with pocket and a pocket with tags and a mini pen.
Carrie Rhoades has a great tutorial for this purse. I don't have the die for making this purse, so I came up with my own version.
I used distress inks for the inside and outside and stamps.
I added a "shabby" pocket to the front and a button I made.
On the right side I attached an eyelet with some charms. I like to add negative strips to my work.
On the left side I added a smaller side pocket.
Here you can see the inside.
For the handles I chose twine. The rings are held by faux leather strips. I decided not to add a closure. Renate
I finally finished all the charms for my pocket prayer pouches. I'm new to working with wire, but I thought everything turned out great.
For this one I just practiced wrapping the wire in a spiral.
This is the heart I made. I like it a lot.
Here I tried to make a moon shape. The top I tied together with some twine, instead of real thin wire.
Here I just recycled some beads from a broken bracelet I had.
I have some small spools. I just wrapped it with an old map and strung some fabric thru it.
I used strips of old book pages to make this charm. I rolled it up on a toothpick and added about 3 layers of UTEE to seal it.
Here I just took a picture of all of them.
I also wanted to add a bible verse to each pouch. I've seen a tutorial this morning from Lilian Guerrero on how to make a faux gelli plate. That was right up my alley. So I gave it a try. It worked great.
Here are some I made with the faux gelli plate.
I totally like these mini rolodex cards because when I pulled them of the "plate" part of their paper stuck to it. But it gives it such an awesome look.
I decided to make my own charms for these pouches. This was my second try, and it turned out pretty good.
