"Use Your Scraps" Embellishments.

I decided to make some more buttons. Carrie Chambless has a tutorial on how to make these. Mine are small buttons. I used scrap pieces of paper and UTEE to cover them. I tried a few, where I embossed the top layer with an embossing folder, and they turned out good. I also used my metallic acrylic paint to cover the edge and part of the button.

The light blue and red one, are the ones where I embossed the card stock first.

Here I just played around and made some number signs.

I call these my faux metal tags.

For these charms I've seen a tutorial, but I don't remember who it was.You just use the woodblocks from stamps. You just peel off the stamp and cover it with card stock. I choose to screw a little hook in the top. Then I covered it with one layer of UTEE.

The smaller one, is a woodblock, my husband bought me. It was a bit more challenging.

Here just an example of how I used the smaller number tag, on my french fry box.

I placed the wooden one on my journal.
