Altered Paperclip.

At Country Morning Creations you can find the tutorial for a Boho altered paperclip. This is my version of it.

I'm not good with chains and rings, so I usually just tie my charms down. For this one I used one of my buttons I made. To it I attached a tiny playing card, a word tag and part of a negative.

I used a piece of cardstock that I covered in pink ink. Then I stamped some text over it. After that I went over it with some Gesso. I also added one layer of UTEE to the front and back, to give it the "wet" look, after I had glued it to the paperclip.Then I glued down a piece of lace and added the pink fabric, that I tied in a knot.

I put a piece of plastic over the word tag before I added the eyelet. When you set your eyelet, don't squeeze it all the way tight. Finish it with some long nose pliers and it will hardly split in the back and will leave a smooth surface.
