Tombola Drum Gift Box.

I've seen this smaller version of this box from Brittanee at BBz Kraftz. My panels are 13/4 inches by 4 inches. The side panels are 2 inches. For the closure I just added 2 eyelets.

Instead of cutting a hexagon, I just glued tissue paper to the sides.

This is my treasure chest gift box.

This was fun to put together. I made some glue mixed with a few drops of water and some food coloring to get it a brown color. I cut and scored my cardstock, then added a layer of the brown glue and then added the white tissue paper and another layer of brown glue. After it was dry I went over it with some ground espresso ink.

For the anchor I used acrylic paint to make it look rusty.

I used a magnetic closure for this box.

For the side strips I embossed some silver electrical tape, that I attached to some cardstock. I also used acrylic paint for it.

This is just the right size for a little something. Thank you Brittanee for the inspiration.
Renate.
