Gi Kerr had a tutorial on altering matchboxes. Hers are very beautiful.
I didn't have one, so I made one with the EPB. I went to "the crafty owl-box buster" to enter my size of box I wanted, and it tells you what size paper you need and where to make your punches.
Instead of making the usual closure in the back, I put my own twist on it and made it like a corset style closure on the top. I decorated it with stamps, tissue paper and an old German postage stamp.
For the inside I chose to use lighter colors instead of brown.
It turned out pretty good. I tried to think "outside the box". Thank you Gi Kerr for the inspiration.
