Window Pocket for my Journal.

Attic Lane on You Tube had a tutorial on how to make these window pockets. I loved the color theme she used. So I used my stamps in these colors.

I also made my pocket in one piece. Mine is a 4 x 8 inches Score 1/2 in down the long sides and at 4 inches at the center. On the back panel you just remove the 1/2 inch panels on both sides. That leaves you with the 1/2 inch panels on both sides of the front, which you will just fold and glue to the outer back panel.

I also made the tag the same way.

This is a page of the journal/album I'm working on.

Mini Suitcase.

4 x 4 Oven Cupcake Box.

I was looking for a box tutorial, when I came across the oven cupcake boxes. I thought that was a cute idea and wanted to make one myself. But I couldn't find a good tutorial on any of them. Then I found "scapbookingstation" on You Tube. The Lady there made a 4 x 4 Easter box. And that was perfect. She has great instructions on how to make the box. The only change I made, is to leave the 2 side flaps on the top to close it.
Most of the tutorials I saw, made the oven door the closure panel. Well by "accident", mine ended up on top, which turned out to be pretty good.

I used vellum under my "heating elements".

I added some old book pages to my project.

 The back view.

I used salty ocean, vintage photo and peeled paint for my background, and then stamped over it in green with my script stamp.

It took me quite some time to make it... but well worth it.

Mini Backpack.

I saw a tutorial at Bambidearr on You Tube. I just made a few changes, since I wanted to be able to use a 81/2 in x 11 in piece of cardstock. And I wanted the lid to be attached not separate.

For the closure I used a magnet. I started out with white cardstock and splattered it with vintage photo and gathered twigs and peeled paint inks. Then I just stamped on it with the typewriter background stamp.

I decided to sew a small pocket in the front.

I added 3 charms to one side of the backpack.

The straps I covered in old German book pages.

I went with the original scoring for the sides, like it was shown in the video. I liked it better then other versions I've seen.

 A close-up of the front.

Here you can see what the side looks like when open.

The letters I covered in 2 layers of UTEE.
I used a 91/2 in x 8 in piece of cardstock. The bottom I reduced to 11/4 in. The height is 4 in + 2 3/4 in for the lid. The straps are 1/2 in - 1/8 in x 6 in. The side panels are 11/2 in wide and the front and back are 3 in wide. And you have a 1/2 in flap on the side to glue it together.
You score it at: 1/2  2  5  61/2 on the 91/2 in side then turn it to the 8 in side with the 1/2 in on top and score it at: 11/4  51/4. You will have to cut away the boxes that are to the left of the flap. You also have to score the lid then at 3/8th of an in. I hope that was not to confusing. These make good gift card holders or just to put some goodies in it.

Altered Matchbox made with the EPB.

Gi Kerr had a tutorial on altering matchboxes. Hers are very beautiful.
I didn't have one, so I made one with the EPB. I went to "the crafty owl-box buster" to enter my size of box I wanted, and it tells you what size paper you need and where to make your punches.
Instead of making the usual closure in the back, I put my own twist on it and made it like a corset style closure on the top. I decorated it with stamps, tissue paper and an old German postage stamp.

For the inside I chose to use lighter colors instead of brown.

It turned out pretty good. I tried to think "outside the box". Thank you Gi Kerr for the inspiration.

A Page from my Journal/Album I'm working on.

I've seen this on Pinterest and thought it would make a great addition to my Journal/Album that I'm working on. I used a small plate to trace out a moon shape.

Here a close-up of the little pocket.

I added a little charm I made.

You can use the whole side of the "moon" to tuck stuff in.
